SITVIT2, base de donnée mondiale de surveillance de M. tuberculosis.
SITVIT2 est une base de données multi-marqueurs de génotypage du complexe Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Elle contient de nombreuses informations sur les marqueurs génétiques, tels que: Spoligotypes, 5-locu ETRs, 12-loci MIRU-VNTR, 15-loci MIRU-VNTR, and 24-loci MIRU-VNTR. Les Spoligotypes sont des patterns formés par la présence ou l'absence of 43 espaceurs du locus DR de Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Ce pattern peut être représenté par un code binaire de 43 éléments ou en utilisant une forme réduite octale contenant uniquement 15 numéros. Les marqueurs MIRU-VNTRs (Mycobacterial interspersed repetitive units-Variable Number Tandem Repeats) sont des nombres variables de répétitions (nombres de copies). La base de données SITVIT2 représente une grande collection de données epidémiologiques, démographiques et génétiques, permettant un apperçu exhaustif de la distribution mondiale des isolats du complexe Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Lorsque cela est disponible, les données de génotypage sont aussi analysées en fonction de la résistance aux antituberculeux, des caractéristiques démographiques, cliniques, et géographiques.
